A long wallet is sized so that notes lie flat inside it. Nothing gets folded, creased or curled, which matters if you regularly carry larger notes, cheques, receipts or travel documents. It is also the shape that looks right coming out of a jacket rather than a back pocket.

Who it suits

Long and checkbook wallets are the usual choice for anyone who carries cash in volume, deals with cheques, or wants an ID window and full-length note compartment without the bulk of a travel organiser. Because it is designed for a breast or jacket pocket, it is a poor fit for tight back pockets - if that is where your wallet lives, a bifold will serve you better.

Build

Genuine leather with reinforced stitching along the spine, a full-length note compartment, multiple card slots and a clear ID window. The extended body means a longer fold line, so the stitching along that edge is the part worth inspecting on any long wallet - ours is doubled there.
