We are the manufacturer
Most leather brands buy finished goods and put a label on them. We do not. Buraq Leathers cuts, stitches and finishes under one roof, which is the only reason we can tell you what grade of leather is in a product and stand behind the answer.
That matters more than it sounds. Leather is one of the easiest materials in the world to misrepresent. A bonded product with a pressed grain can look identical to full-grain under shop lighting, and the difference only shows up a year later when one has developed a patina and the other has started flaking at the fold. When you control the workshop, there is no gap between what you claim and what you know.
Four steps, no shortcuts
The hide
We select full-grain hides for their density and grain — the part of the skin that carries the animal's own character, and the only layer strong enough to age instead of wear out.
The cut
Each panel is cut by hand against the grain direction, so a wallet folds where it should and a belt keeps its line after a thousand wears.
The stitch
Saddle-stitched at the stress points. Two needles, one thread, locked at every pass. If a stitch fails, the seam holds instead of unravelling — which is not true of machine lock-stitch, where one broken thread can open a whole seam.
The finish
Edges are burnished and sealed by hand, then the mark is heat-embossed. It is the last thing we do, and the first thing you feel.
What we make
Our range is deliberately narrow: wallets and belts, in the shapes people actually carry. Bifolds, trifolds, long and checkbook wallets, slim card holders. Formal, casual and reversible belts. We would rather make a small number of things properly than a large number adequately.
How we sell
Cash on delivery across Pakistan, so you can see the product before any money changes hands. Free delivery on every order. A 7-day exchange window on unused items, because a belt you cannot try on before ordering should not be a gamble.
